DAY 01 (Airport/Negombo)

DAY 02 (Negombo)

Following Breakfast, you will be visiting “Lellama” (the local fish markets), an auction which contains many species of fresh fish. With the assistance of your host you may choose to bid for fish which you can use to cook later at the culinary class that is to be conducted. A local chef will share his/her knowledge of Sri Lankan home cooking and familiarize you with components of a typical Sri Lankan sea food dish.

DAY 03 (Negombo/Dambulla)

After Breakfast, you will travel to Dambulla (The city where the famous cave temple is located) En route to Dambulla, you will take a stop at the wayside boutique at Kurunegala for a light but spicy snack of the famous "Pol rotti" or coconut rotti. You will also be able to cool your buds by trying King coconut water, which of course has been the drink of choice in our island paradise.

DAY 04 (Dambulla)

Today, you will be the witness of the authentic Sri Lankan village life with a visit and walk around the Hiriwadunna village which is set around a manmade reservoir with amazing bird life.Enlightening and exhilarating, this authentic experience gives you a glimpse of Sri Lankan village life where the villagers go about their daily chores,be it fishing or laundry. You have not really eaten until your taste buds have experienced the spicy local fare of traditional rice

DAY 05 (Dambulla/Trincomalee)

Subsequent to Breakfast, you will travel to Trincomalee, where lies one of our best recreational beaches accommodating surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. This is one of the largest natural harbours situated in the North-East Coast of Sri Lanka.

DAY 06 (Trincomalee)

Today you can have an optional excursion, either take a fishing trip or whale and dolphin -whale watching cruise. The dolphin will put on a show while humpback and blue whale nonchalantly glide past you.

DAY 07 (Trincomalee/Matale/Kandy)

If variety is the spice of life, the variety of spices hand-reared and harvested at Matale Spice Garden ,this is where you are heading to following breakfast. Here you’ll be able to watch the intricate process that results in Sri Lanka producing some of the best spice in the world. Following which you will continue to Kandy and enjoy a city tour, including the significant Temple of the Tooth Relic.

DAY 08
(Kandy)

The day today is allocated for a in house cookery demonstration session, which will begin with paying a visit to the market to select the fresh harvests. The demonstration will predominantly focus on the preparation of a typical menu consisting of fish, prawns, lentil vegetable curries, Sambol & rice

(Kandy/Nuwaraeliya)

Nuwara Eliya has a salubrious climate with breathtaking views and is a resort city in the central mountain range of Sri Lanka. Following breakfast, you will travel to Eliya to gain this exposure

DAY 10 (Nuwaraeliya/Colombo)

After Breakfast, you will travel to Colombo, which is the capital of the economy of Sri Lanka and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 11(Colombo)

Colombo is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern life and colonial buildings and ruins and on this day, you are headed out to explore to discover the countryside of Colombo
